Origins 

SheWolf WildKin is more than a name.

 

Seeded in 2013 as SheWolf - an instinctual howl through the urban terrain.

The work first took form in embodied performance.

Powerful. Intimate. Raw. Provocative.

​

Over time, it grew roots and branches.

Unfolded into site-responsive practice where landscapes stirred the imagination.

Where nature connection deepened into an ecology of care and belonging.

From this, an ensemble of WildKin was called forth.

And so, SheWolf WildKin was born.

A wildwood weaving of therapy, art, and embodied return.

Yet at its heart, the SheWolf remains.

SheWolf is not a gender.

It is a memory.

A myth.

A pulse of wildness beneath the skin of culture and conditioning.

The SheWolf lives in the bones of anyone...

And everyone.

​

In those who’ve wandered too far from themselves, and in those who’ve settled into comforts that cost too much.

In those who, through no fault of their own, can no longer go on as they were before.

Calling to the exiled parts, the silenced instincts, the wild truths...

Still waiting to return.​
